Recently, my husband and I renovated our entire kitchen for a 3rd time. We decided to tackle this modern farmhouse kitchen makeover together! We were able to renovate the entire kitchen for less than $1,000 by doing all the work ourselves and shopping sales! We saved so much money (and I mean sooooooo much) by doing it ourselves. I so love my kitchen now. It was a major transformation. It went from being a dark kitchen to now, the brightest place in the house!
Things we did to save money:

- We built our own island. The island I wanted was $700, but there was no way I was going to pay that! So we decided to build one ourselves.
- Stripped and repainted our cabinets. The paint color is Repose Gray at 50%.
- Installed new hardware
- Installed a new light fixture
- Replaced the sink with a modern farmhouse sink

- Replaced decor- (plants, art, bar chairs)
